Composites Showcase 2009

Concept: A special showcase that featured products that are made of composites which are durable but lighter than traditional materials. This showcase provided visitors with first-hand experience with the alternative materials and technology and thus complemented the exhibitions, supported by Thai Composites Association and Cobra International Co., Ltd.

Thailand Mold Polishing Contest 2009

Concept: A competition stage that let mold makers of various levels demonstrate their capabilities in mold polishing. This activity helped launch new talents into the market and created confidence of Thai skilled workers among foreign investors/manufacturers.

Prototype Hydrogen Car Showcase

Concept: This special feature showcased the very first Hydrogen Car in Thailand by Thai inventor, (Air Marshall Morakot Charnsamruat). It created talk-of-thetown buzz from the shows’ PR campaign, attracted interest from visitors on the site, and added an innovative and learning elements to the shows and supported by National Research Council of Thailand

Robot in Motion

Concept: A dual-arm, human-figure robot demonstrated its intelligent controlled movements. This enhanced visitors experience and added an innovative element to the shows and supported by Yaskawa Electric (Thailand) Co.,Ltd.

Live Robot Demonstration Zone

Concept: Various types of robots demonstrated various types of capabilities in the line of manufacturing; e.g. welding, packaging, and painting. This let visitors see newest models of industrial robots and a new level of manufacturing and supported by ABB Limited, OTC DAIHEN Asia Co., Ltd., Yaskawa Electric (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

Business Matchmaking Program

Concept: Designed to be a platform where top executives and procurement decisionmakers from potential companies or organizations meet face to face with potential local and international technology providers. The program adopts a pre-arranged meeting format where potential partners meet and discuss in one-on-one business meetings.

Mold Clinic

Concept: Professional technicians and industrialists were present to offer knowledge and creative ideas plus problem solving service for mold manufacturers for free and supported by Thai Tool and Die Industry Association (TDIA)

BUILD Marketplace

Concept: A market place for vendors and buyers to meet through pre-appointed meetings to discuss business one-on-one for industrial parts.
