ABOUT THE CONFERENCE AM&M 2010

Environmental concerns, energy conservation, safety and recyclabil-ity are making it inevitable to find alterations in materials over con-ventional ones for sustainable future of automobiles.

In order to meet customer's desire for space, shape, comfort and per-formance, lightweight materials and structures will be imperative. In the struggle for meeting cost and effi-ciency issues, the automotive indus-try will get benefited through inven-tions in manufacturing processes and forming technologies using at-tractive emerging materials.

The theme of the Conference is "Sustainable Mobility through Materials and Manufacturing" and it aims to reduce the gap of un-paralleled inventions in materials and manufacturing technologies. It symbolizes current and future needs of environment issues, recyclability, energy savings and light weight de-signs for improving fuel efficiency and cost reductions.

More than 30 technical papers will be presented in this conference.

ABOUT ARAI—FID :

ARAI Forging Industry Division (ARAI-FID). The ARAI-FID is an extended arm of The ARAI, Pune and located in the hub of developing industrial belt at MIDC, Chakan. The organization provides services in metal testing and characterization, endurance testing of components, Metal forming simulation stud-ies using software packages and training to industry personnel to uplift human skills in technical, mana-gerial and operational levels.

DISPLAY STALLS (SHELL SCHEME BOOTH) :

Shell Scheme booths of 9 sqm are available. Stalls will be pro-vided with partition walls, carpet, name fascia, and with standard furniture like 1 table, 2 chairs, 3 spotlights, 1 socket (220V/50Hz) and waste paper basket.

Cost per stall for 3 days will be Rs. 30,000/- with applicable S.T., presently at 10.3%.
