Besides display of cutting-edge concepts, technology,

of the Exhibition was the 'Innovation Series'
of Seminars that were held on the sidelines.
There were 145 exhibitors occupying a floor
space of 1950 sqm, housed in 4 individual air-conditioned
hangars.
Nearly 10000 qualified buyers from every segment
of the industry gathered. Although a drop from
the previous Mega-Tech's 13500, this time around
quality-conscious exhibitors expressed satisfaction
that there was almost no 'lay' or 'retailing'
visitor. Some exhibitors, more used to attending
to large crowds seen at consumer fairs, expressed
their discontent. The overall sentiment was
upbeat owing to the fact that VP, GM level decision-makers
from the top-most engineering companies formed
a substantial portion of the visitor base.
The distinctive feature of Mega-Tech is that
it focuses on the visitors / buyers from Maharashtra's
vast and escalating buyer community of Industrial
products, services and equipment.
2008 Mega-Tech is scheduled for February 2008,
and it promises to be bigger, more focussed
and powerful than ever before.
